Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026

Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of the TabFindr Chrome extension and the tabfindr.com website (together, "TabFindr"). By installing or using TabFindr, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use TabFindr.

License

TabFindr is free to use. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use TabFindr for its intended purpose of viewing, searching and organising your own Chrome tabs. You may not resell, sublicense or repackage TabFindr without permission.

Your responsibility

TabFindr gives you tools to manage your open tabs, including closing, grouping, ungrouping, pinning and muting them. You are responsible for reviewing the actions you take through TabFindr before confirming them, particularly actions that close tabs or affect tabs you have not saved elsewhere.

Intellectual property

The TabFindr name, logo and the design of the extension and this website are the property of Ray Mongey. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you.

Donations and support

TabFindr is free, with no paid tier or subscription. Support through Buy Me a Coffee is entirely optional and voluntary. It does not create any additional obligation, entitlement or service-level commitment beyond what is described in these terms.

Disclaimer

TabFindr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While care is taken to make TabFindr reliable, no guarantee is made that it will always operate without errors or interruption.

Users are responsible for reviewing actions performed through TabFindr, including closing, grouping, ungrouping, pinning, muting or otherwise managing browser tabs.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TabFindr and its creator are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the extension. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of TabFindr after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
